QUANTITATIVE RESEARCH
Whether you want to measure your clients' or your employees' assessments obtained through a satisfaction study, or to collect information on issues pertaining to health, education, politics, economics or the environment, in the context of a socio-economic study, BIP Research is fully equipped to conduct large-scale surveys. The firm can even accompany you in assessing all types of programs.

BIP Research's very proficient team is able to recommend you the data collection method that best suits your specific project needs, in order to quantify opinions, perceptions, behaviours or attitudes based on a satisfactory level of statistical confidence. The goal is to maximise the quality of information gathered. Furthermore, BIP Research uses a sampling software application which allows the production of random samples allowing results to be extrapolated to the entire target population. BIP Research also works from lists provided by the client.
BIP Research proposes the following quantitative data collection methods:
  • Telephone interviews
  • Face-to-face interviews
  • Web surveys
  • Omnibus
  • Mail-out surveys
  • Data compilation and processing
  • Statistical analysis

Telephone Interviews
Telephone surveys are a simple and proven method which consists in gathering information about your target group through telephone calls. Whether dealing with the general population or with a target group, or with business managers, BIP only uses qualified interviewers, many of whom master other languages, which allows them to conduct interviews among various cultural communities.

BIP Research has set up team of supervisors and assistants who ensure that interviews always meet the criteria established by the firm, and that have been proven over the years. Before beginning a survey, BIP Research will systematically conduct a pre-test, and indeed it allows its clients to remotely listen in on telephone interviews in real time. Telephone data is collected using a computer-assisted telephone interviewing (CATI) system, one of the most widely used systems in the market. This minimizes the risk of mistakes in entering and coding data and allows information gathered to be processed. Furthermore, the interviewing software allows respondents to listen to audio clips.

Face-to-face interviews
Face-to-face interviews can, in some cases, be the most appropriate study method, where respondents are called upon to conduct hands-on testing of a product. That may also apply where the quality of the customer service a company provides needs to be assessed or in the case of a social study in which respondents have to complete a long questionnaire.

Web surveys
For some types of studies, it is easier to contact respondents through a Web survey, which allows them to complete the questionnaire at their best convenience. At BIP, we believe that this method is optimal when combined with telephone follow-up, in the case of surveys targeting specific clients, such as businesspeople, for instance.

BIP Research provides its clients with an integrated platform allowing them to conduct Web surveys either by intercepting visitors to their websites or by sending them customized invitation emails, including a password and reminder follow-ups.

The software used by BIP Research, which is adapted to that used for telephone interviews, also provides a great deal of flexibility with respect to the types of questions and formats of concepts to be tested, be they video, audio or visual concepts. It also contains flexible rewards design and management program modules.

Omnibus
The omnibus survey makes it possible to significantly reduce the cost of a survey by including your questions in a survey in which other BIP Research ask their own questions to the same respondent's sample. That allows you to pay just for your questions, but at the same time, you enjoy the benefits of a sample with standard characteristics.

BIP carries out omnibus surveys on a regular basis. We invite you contact our team in order to obtain information on upcoming omnibus surveys.

Mail-out surveys
Mail-out surveys are carried out with all the rigor and follow-up needed to ensure an optimal response rate for the method. Some telephone follow-up is also possible in order to ensure better results.

Data compilation and processing
BIP Research offers a data compilation and processing service, which uses various software applications to collate, organise or segment data obtained through investigations and surveys. Data is presented in such a manner to facilitate subsequent results analysis in order to isolate major trends.

Statistical analysis

BIP Research also provides its clients with a statistical analysis service. BIP Research's expert statisticians can analyse your survey and investigation results in order to isolate major trends, identify statistically significant deviations, extrapolate results obtained to the entire target population, and establish relations between several variables.

The BIP team can even help you carry out more complex multivariate analyses
